Key points

  1. A Ramlethal player, RedDitto, dominated Guilty Gear Strive’s Bracket in Arc World Tour 2024.
  2. RedDitto only lost two games during the whole event from Group Stages to the Grand Final.
  3. He was the first fighting game player to win a last chance qualifier of a tournament and then win the tournament he qualified for.

RedDitto piloted Ramlethal to perfection as he won Guilty Gear: Strive’s Arc World Tour 2024 bracket. He only lost two games during the event, one in the group stage and one in the Grand Final.

RedDitto’s record might seem like he was up against mid-level players, but that cannot be farther from the truth. Every person he fought in the group stage and top eight are all tournament winners from Arc World Tour affiliated events. They are very strong players who have proven themselves.

Despite this, he only lost a total of two games the whole tournament. His first loss was handed to him by Shunsuke “poka” Abe in the group stage. RedDitto won this set 3-1. His next loss happened much later in the tournament in the Grand Final where he lost a game to Goldlewis player Raphaell “Rang13” Alves, RedDitto also won this set 3-1.

RedDitto is a Ramlethal player based in the United States of America. He qualified for the Arc World Tour 2024 through the Last Chance Qualifier, which is an open bracket tournament–which meant that anybody can enter–giving non-qualified players a chance to prove themselves.

According to Liquipedia, RedDitto was the first fighting game player to win a last chance qualifier of a tournament and then proceeded to win the tournament he qualified for. In this case, Arc World Tour 2024. RedDitto also placed third at EVO 2024 for Guilty Gear: Strive.

The Arc World Tour 2024 also featured two other major fighting games under Arc System Works’ umbrella: Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. Senaru won the Under Night In-Birth bracket and Tororo won the Granblue Fantasy bracket.
