Initially launched on Oct. 8, 2024, Off The Grid is playable on PlayStation 5Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Set in a cyberpunk dystopia where cybernetically augmented contestants participate in a televised bloodsport on an isolated island called Teardrop Island, Off The Grid offers its players both PvE and PvP encounters.

Gaming.News contacted Oxalis Games for comment on Moonfrost’s future at the Epic Games Store.

Multiplayer Moonfrost tasks users with rebuilding the world together with other players by hunting for rare resources, collecting unique crafting recipes, and building a dream home.

In simple terms, the new alliance is aiming to prevent manipulations within in-game economies through the use of bots.

The collaboration will also scale Ethereum for Mythical Games players. As World is built on World Chain, an L2 blockchain secured by Ethereum, Mythical’s Mythos Chain will become the first L3 built on top of it, benefitting from Ethereum’s security, and the throughput and cost efficiency of an L2 network.

“Our goal is to make every player – whether in FIFA Rivals, Pudgy Party, or NFL Rivals – part of a verified global economy where digital ownership and fair play are guaranteed,” said John Linden, CEO of Mythical Games.
